On 12th January, in Vlodrop, The Netherlands, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi presided over a three-day worldwide inauguration to usher in 2006 as the Year of Reconstruction of the Whole World to be Heaven on Earth, First Year of Satya Yuga (Heaven on Earth).

On this occasion, Maharaja Nader Raam, First Ruler of Maharishi's Global Country of World Peace, issued Royal Decree Number 21. Many of his Ministers of the Global Country of World Peace spoke of their plans for carrying out his Majesty’s vision in the coming year.

Maharishi commented on Maharaja Nader Raam’s presentation and declared, We have the decree of His Majesty Maharaja Nader Raam. It has laid out the path of action for this year, 2006, and will always be the guiding light of activity of every generation. This has uncovered the new destiny of mankind. This decree of Maharaja Nader Raam has opened the gateway for the reconstruction of the world in every sense of it, reconstruction of the physical world, reconstruction of the mental world, reconstruction of the intellectual world, to the exalted state of the spiritual value of life, which is bliss eternal. This decree has opened the gate of all peace, prosperity, and fulfillment and will open the gate of invincibility for every nation, with the onset of the support of the Constitution of the Universe to all our existing constitutions of the governments of our world. We are blessed with this decree.

His Excellency Dr. Girish Varma, Minister of Education for the Global Country of World Peace and chief organizer for the January 12 celebration held in India, described the progress in establishing large groups of Vedic* Pandits (peace creating experts) throughout India. These Pandits are trained in Peace Creating Vedic Performances (Graha Shanti Yagyas). Maharishi Yagya performances are Vedic performances that create life-supporting effects in order to amend or avoid any unwanted tendency or influence before it manifests. These large groups of Vedic Pandits will also create a powerful influence of coherence and harmony throughout the world through their group practice of the TM and TM-Sidhi program™.

Maharishi, in his efforts to preserve this ancient source of Total Knowledge of life, the Veda and Vedic literature, has created residential campuses and day schools throughout India where Vedic Pandits are trained from a very young age, how to recite and perform Yagyas in the traditional manner. Over 200,000 Maharishi Vedic Pandits are currently in training to preserve this precious Knowledge for all future generations—truly the greatest of fortunes and blessings for all mankind.
