News of Heaven Descending on Earth

The past two weeks have been filled with news of rising world consciousness. Here are a few of the many stories:

From France:
On October 3, 2007, President Sarkozy of France awarded producer David Lynch the Legion of Honor award and agreed to build a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility in Paris. David Lynch is founder of the David Lynch Foundation whose purpose is to fund students who would like to begin the TM program.

From Israel:
On October 15, David Lynch swept through Israel meeting with President Mr. Shimon Peres. During the meeting David Lynch used a drawing to explain the Unified Field and how it is only from the level of the Unified Field that we can create permanent world peace. Dr. Lynch further explained that to create Peace in Israel a group of Yogic Flyers was needed. President Peres replied, “Well, so we will create a group, no problem we will create a group, I am for that.” The President added that he will have a group that will be combined with Palestinians and Israelis together. David Lynch continued on his tour speaking to large groups in major Israeli cities and universities. In addition Dr. Lynch met with very important social leaders including: the President of the Jerusalem Foundation, Mrs. Ruth Hachin; famous Israeli author, Mr. David Grossman; New York Times chief correspondent in Israel, Mr. Steven Erlanger; director of the Peres Center for Peace, Dr. Aharon Pundak; and many more.

From Ireland:
On October 21, David Lynch traveled to Ireland where he was joined by famous songwriter and performer Donovan. Already they have spoken to groups numbering in the thousands. More stops are planned for Trinity College in Dublin, Queens University in Northern Ireland, the University of London in England, and another full month of speaking engagements throughout Europe.

From Fairfield, Iowa:
The Maharishi University of Management Campus and Maharishi Vedic City are now home to 530 Maharishi Vedic Pandits from India. The Pandits’ daily performance of the Vedic recitations are having a profound positive effect on the environment.
